Sorry, none of these will get to an album. "Profile Name click > view gallery uploads" only shows the photos in the members photo gallery (again, no albums there, even though seems like there should be). Mustang Garage is a separte gallery for each member that puts in a car but is not where someone has added a photo album. And like you say, the photos link in the red nav bar only takes you to a general gallery for each member, but won't show or allow you to get to any separate album the member has created.

It is nice you can create separate photo albums for different cars you have, events you went to, a specific repair how-to etc. but if nobody can find them it makes it tough.

I think the only way you can see an album is to click on someone's name, then click on view profile for that person, then click on their albums which show up there if they created one (or more). But in most cases why would you go that far? It would be nicer if a person's albums also showed up as part of their normal member's photo gallery that you get to just using the photo navigation button. Maybe that's not possible here but that is how it works at our club's site (example here: http://www.ncrmc.org/photopost/showg...er/394/cat/500

Thanks, hope I'm not griping too much, appreciate your support

Talco - I know what you mean. It is not intuitive. I will log that as an enhancement we can make. I believe it will require some custom effort to have it integrated so it might not happen right away.

    Thanks

Just joined this forum. How do I go about asking general questions to other members? Every time I go to post a new thread...it won't let me. Thanks

Welcome to the forum! You have joined the website but you have not joined the MCA. Some of the sections of the site are only available to MCA members. To join click on the JOIN MCA link in the red nav bar. Annual membership is $50.

    Thanks

Okay. Is there someplace where I can go to see what I can and can't do as a MCA member? I just started looking at the FAQ section, but have not gotten through it yet. Is this where I find out what I can and can't do? I just want to ask a question about a part, or 'search' for previous conversatoins about a topic. Have not had success with either....not sure why you can join a forum w/out being able to talk with other members of the forum. I can understand about being a member of a club....I'm sure they receive certain privileges, discounts, purchase/sell items, etc., but, I've never been part of a forum where it cost money to ask questions and talk with people. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong??? Thanks

This is a great question and no there is not today but we should clearly identify what can and can not be viewed by non MCA members. I think we have some work to do here but I looked through the permissions and this is the what a Non MCA member can see today. Please correct me if this is not the case. I will review this and discuss it with our Exec committee to see if we can open this up a bit.

How long after a event is submitted does it take for it to post? I submitted one a few days ago and it has not posted.

The events are reviewed before they are posted. Normally I do this but I have been on vacation this week. I will update the list today.

I must be doing something wrong. I have submitted the event 2 times now and it is still not posted. Old site was not this hard to post events on
