how do I get permission to post a car for sale in the classifieds?

I am member MCA and local chapter. I can log in and read the ads. When I tried to place a car for sale, on the screen flashed a message that I did not have permission.

I called the main office of the club, and the lady there made the corrections in the computer for me.

First, the website has to recognize you as an MCA member. Some people have problems with this because when they registered for the website they did not select the option that says I AM A CURRENT OR EXISTING MCA MEMBER (causing them to enter their MCA number and Expiration date in the next step of the process). As such you may show up as an ENTHUSIAST under your name instead of MCA MEMBER.

The second thing you have to do is create a separate account in the Classifieds section. Only MCA members can create ads so you have to do both before you can post ads. If you have any issues send an email using the form at the bottom of the website and we will take care of you.
