Folks,
The Eagle Lake Parade will be on Saturday December 18Th and we have been invited to participate in again. This is a MCOH Members Only Event!
Here are the Chamber of Commerce Rules for participation:
*All RSVPS must be turned into Rashann Fontenot by 12:00 NOON December 8Th so I can turn into the Chamber of Commerce for them to announce those that are participating. All I need is names of anyone riding in your car and year model & car color. I will not be able to add anyone after that date no exceptions!!!
*Cars MUST be decorated to drive in the parade. If you do not want to drive in the parade you are welcome to come park and view the parade.
*Do not toss or throw anything to the crowd from your cars to keep crowd from running into the street.
*No Santa's are allowed since they provide a Santa as Grand Marshall for the parade.
The plan is we will be the MCOH Santa's Christmas Ponies so start your decoration shopping now. You can find stuffed horses/ponies at the various dollar stores and many resale stores such as "Goodwill" "MAM" and "Salvation Army. You can also use candy candy canes/gingerbread/snowflakes/ angels/bells/ to add to your "Christmas Pony" display so we are still one entry but also unique! Ted has volunteered to assist with ideas and installation techniques. You may contact him at 832-549-0639 to discuss your ideas and questions.
Eagle Lake will be having festivities: Chili Cook off, blood drive, Christmas Shopping Mall with vendors, all starting at 9AM. For those of you that would like to enjoy these activities feel free to go and just make plans to meet at Texas Seafood and Steakhouse
727 E Main St, Eagle Lake, TX 77434 979-234-2525 at 3PM sharp to have dinner.
If you want to "Cruise" to Eagle Lake from Houston plan to meet at 1:30 at Katy Mill Mall Near Bass Pro Shop for a 2PM Sharp departure!
Remember to bring your MCOH car magnets ( call Becky Howard if you need to order them) money for dinner and any "Bucees" souvenirs you may want to take home, cameras and video cameras and cold weather clothing (mittens, hats, scarves etc as last year it was cold)
Get ready for a GREAT time as this is one of the funnest events of the year. Any questions please feel free to contact me!
