Check out Mustang Times, June 2010 issue, Page 20-21 Driving Impressions by Mary Jean . . . first paragraph, 4th line "a beefy strut towre brace". Also check out page 30 of the January 2010 Mustang Times "V6 equipped with the performance package" . . . but that (performance package) doesn't show up on the order form or the window sticker, and the cut a way picture on page 32 does not show the STB.

I'll PM you a picture and vin.

    2011 MCA Edition

Well . . . after 30 minutes of trying, hopefully the picture uploaded and you can still view the STB.

Engine size lettering is my own design . . . I'm proud I drive an economical V6!

From what I know you only get the strut brace on the Conv only.

Thanks for the message Doug, I just wanted to go over everything your car was equipped with. Unfortunately I'm seeing the same thing you are and am at a loss. Obviously it is not included in the Comfort Package which just leaves the MCA Package (230A). Having it only on the Verts sounds feasible but when you go to the ford website to build a car and choose a V6 Premium Convertible and the Rapid Spec 230A Package this is what it shows:

The MCA Package has always been $995 so if they decided to drop it you would think they would also reduce the price but it really wouldn't surprise me if they didn't. Or they could have replaced it with something else. However, you would think there would be old promotional material from Ford out there stating it came with the strut tower brace since that would be extra incentive to buy the package. If you are worried about showing the car in Concourse down the road and loosing points for it, I would save all the references mentioning the MCA Edition equipped with the STB. Before I judge any car I always introduce myself to the owner and ask if there is anything they would like me to know about their vehicle. This would be the perfect time to present that information to the judge to make sure you don't get any points taken off.

I apologize I wasn't able to be any more help but I will continue to research this a little further and let you know if I find anything additional. Thanks again.

    Interesting comments all . . .
I am not too worried about points since I use this car as my daily driver and will show it as daily driven, when there is a MCA show close by, entanly not concourse.
Its a great car and we enjoy the heck out of it. One comment - do not like the OE tires in wet weather.
