How do I edit a post? I don't see an edit button, and the forum tools drop down menu does not work properly, at least for me. The posting permissions at the bottom indicates that I should be able to do edits.

You should be able to edit your own post by clicking on Edit Post under your post. Do you not see that option?
interesting, he asks how to edit a post in his first post?

Sorry if it sounded like a stupid question but I need more information to be able to help. Others have been able to edit with no issue. Also as an admin my menu options are different so sometimes it is hard for me to tell what options are available for others. I have a test account but it is for enthusiasts and not for MCA members (who have to be paid in our database).
All I can see is the Reply to Thread button(s) and down below the Add/Edit Tags. For Mustangted1963, I wanted to update some information via an edit rather than another posting.
That's odd. I have an Edit Post option above this post, but not under my original post in the club string.
I expect I know what the problem is. Can you post a link to the other post you are referring to? I looked at your posts via your profile and the only posts that show under your account are the three on this thread.
Hopefully this works, or at least it is good for cut and paste.

Yep. We had to reconcile your accounts because you had two profiles set up. By doing that this post was orphaned in the process so now you are no longer associated with it. If you want I can delete the post and you can repost the info and then you can edit it if needed.
Sir,
Please do, and thank you.
