    Repairing A/C System

    I have a 1969 Mach 1 and my A/C has recently stopped working. I feel it is the compressor as no air is being pushed through the vents at all. Does anyone have a recommended guide or website to assist in troubleshooting and repairing compressors and A/C systems? Thanks.

    Your fan switch may be bad. You can check power to the compressor with a 12V probe. Would recommend you purchase a Ford shop manual if you don't have one.

    The compressor has nothing to do with air coming out of the vents, only the temperature of the air. If there is no air flowing out of the vents, the issue is with the fan circuit. I would highly recommend that you get assistance from a professional.
