I appreciate the reply, I knew the web-site was pretty new but was unaware the board was as well. Maybe with the newness of it all, they will listen to what members are saying and possibly offer what we ask for within reason. I have a 07 GT Convertible.
I like convertibles and have had a lot of them. The worst one had a manual top and manual windows, a plastic rear window and no interior lights but some under the dash. I can remember trying to read a mad in that car and having to stoop down about to my feet to get any light. Bit by bit the convertibles got better and better. Now mine has a power top, power windows, glass back window with a heating grid for defrosting, has reading lights in the rear view mirror and the top button runs down all the windows as it puts down the top. If only the top didn't need to be unlatched first, some of them don't. A black car with a black top. I got a boot with my car to cover the top when it is down but have never put on the boot. My last car was an 03 Cobra convertible, also all black and I never put the boot on that car either.

Oh yes, the MCA magazine leave much to be desired. It seems to cater more to the vintage Mustangs though they are trying to fix that. And some of the articles are crazy. One article was, I guess, intended for cars being run on the track as otherwise it made no sense. The guy who wrote the article said that all you needed to do with your exhaust was attach them under the car with hangers. I though it MUST be track only as otherwise you would hit a bump going down a regular road of a speed bump and lose your whole exhaust system. The idea of having your exhaust on hangers was so you could take them off the car quickly, supposedly to make changes or fix things at the track. As though all Mustang owners only drove their cars at the track?!

    Awaiting Mustang Times magazine

I joined MCA recently and I in joining expressed that I was doing so looking forward to receiving the Mustang Times magazine which featured Bob Nixon's Bullitt Mustang. I did receive the membership card and two decals. I inquired as to not receiving the magazine and I was advised that the magazine would arrive under a "another cover". I see on the MCA website that the forum seems to be visited by the same members. I'm wondering as to the History of the MCA website and how many members there are. There does seem to be a bit of frustration expressed for magazines not being sent out or being quite late in delivery. I'll try to be more patient and hopefully a magazine will arrive.

Once your membership is processed and you receive the first magazine, they do come every month like clockwork. If you are having problems with delivery, feel free to contact the Mustang Times (800) number, they can assist you. The website was just recently (last fall) updated to include the forums and new look. As with everything else, it takes time to build a following, but with your help and the help of all members, this website will grow.
Trust me, I drive a Mustang!

What is a rough estimate as to how long it takes to get your membership card after joining?

    Patrick,

I received mine about 5 days after I joined. But you also have to consider how far you live from their mailing center and how the mail is running. They seem to be pretty quick at taking care of their members, I hope this helps.
